Two Arrested for ATM Skimmers

Two people have been arrested for financial crimes after placing skimming devices on several ATMs.

2023 department goals and objectives

 

Goal 1: The Bureau of Administration aims to improve the mental health and wellness of department employees by hiring a licensed mental health professional. 

Goal 2: The Bureau of Administration will increase the number of academy classes held yearly.

Goal 3: The Bureau of Administration will continue to remove all Ford Crown Victorias from the department fleet.

Goal 4: The Bureau of Investigation will upgrade the recording system for interview room and holding cells.

Goal 5: The Bureau of Patrol will enhance community policing efforts by increasing the number of Bike Certified Officers by 5 per sector.

Goal 6: The Bureau of Patrol will enhance operational readiness by training and certifying at least 5 officers per sector in Patrol Rifle training

Goal 7: The Bureau of Special Operations will acquire equipment to accommodate students with special needs attending the Safety City Program.

Goal 8:  The Bureau of Special Operations will conduct a class geared towards landlords and apartment owners that promote programs and techniques to provide for safer communities.

Goal 9:  The Bureau of Special Operations will enhance roadway safety by increasing selective enforcement in areas to reduce accidents and moving hazardous violations.
