General disclaimer

The City of Lexington/Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (“City and/or LFUCG”) created its official website (lexingtonky.gov) as a public service to provide information about City services, programs and officials. The City makes information available on its website to enhance public knowledge and promote a better understanding of the LFUCG. The website is a supplement to and not a replacement for information available from City offices. The City reserves the right to determine what information shall and shall not be placed on the website.

External linking policy

The City website contains links to local, state and federal government agencies and to other non-government websites in accordance with CAO policy 44. In establishing and maintaining its official website, the City does not intend to create any forum or other means for public discourse. Rather, the sole and limited purpose of the permitted external links is to provide information about the City for residents, businesses and visitors. The City does not endorse or provide preferential treatment to any third-party websites or associated organizations or persons. Since the City does not control third-party websites, it does not warrant those third-party websites are accurate or reliable or have operational links. The user acknowledges and agrees that the City/LFUCG is not liable in any way for the content, accuracy, reliability, viewpoints, policies, or products provided by these external resources.

Calendar

The City of Lexington will maintain complete editorial control over all the material present on the online calendar and reserves the right to change, add, or remove content without notice. Information on the calendar is limited to those meetings, programs and events sponsored or co-sponsored by the LFUCG. The online calendar will not list and/or promote any activities that take place on city-owned property that do not meet these criteria (e.g., rentals and neighborhood association events).
