The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred overnight in Castlewood Park.
At around 8:09 a.m. on April 30, 2023, officers were dispatched to Castlewood Park for a deceased subject. When they arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was declared deceased at the scene. Investigators are working with the Fayette County Coroner’s Office to identify the victim.
