The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Monday evening on Toner Street.
At 6:57 p.m., on Monday, February 6, 2023, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Toner Street for shots fired. When officers arrived, they located a male victim inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
The Fayette County Coroner's Office will release the victim's name.
