Canceled - Golden Alert Issued for Missing Lexington Man

UPDATE (09/01/22): The Golden Alert for Kenneth Smith has been canceled. He has been located and is safe.

The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing Lexington man. Kenneth Smith, 51, was last seen on August 30, 2022, around 1:40 p.m., in the 700 block of S. Limestone. 

Kenneth Smith is approximately 5’6” tall, around 150 pounds, and has blue eyes and blonde hair. He also has some bruising on his face. 

He may be wearing a t-shirt and jeans. Smith uses a walker and reportedly suffers from schizophrenia.  

Anyone with knowledge of Kenneth Smith’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
