UPDATE (09/01/22): One person has been arrested following several incidents of vandalism to businesses in the Chevy Chase area on July 25.

Mark Hoskins, 43, was arrested and charged with two counts of 1st-degree Criminal Mischief and one count of 2nd-degree Criminal Mischief.

Four businesses in the area sustained over $6,000 worth of damage from the incidents that occurred in the early morning hours of July 25, 2022

The Lexington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a subject involved in several incidents of vandalism to businesses in the Chevy Chase area.

During the early morning hours of Monday, July 25, 2022, officers received and responded to several reports of businesses being vandalized in the Chevy Chase area. The incidents are believed to have occurred from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

July 27, 2022: The Lexington Police Department is investigating several incidents of vandalism to businesses in the Chevy Chase area of Lexington.

During the early morning hours of Monday, July 25, 2022, officers received and responded to several reports of businesses being vandalized in the Chevy Chase area. The incidents are believed to have occurred from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

These incidents are being investigated, and detectives are asking businesses in the area to check their surveillance video and contact the Lexington Police Department if they have any footage that could help in the investigation.
