Dalton Court Homicide Investigation

A homicide investigation is underway after shots fired in an apartment.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2021, around 5:02 a.m., Lexington Police responded to the 1800 block of Dalton Court for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a 35-year-old victim that was deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Two other victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim’s name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. Police continue to investigate this case.
