McAtee Lane Shooting Investigation

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred just before midnight on December 8, 2022.

On December 8, 2022, at 11:42 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 4900 block of McAtee Lane for a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a 22-year-old female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers also located a 26-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the residence by emergency personnel.
