Hollow Creek Drive Murder-Suicide Investigation

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a murder-suicide that occurred this evening on Hollow Creek Road.

Around 3:58 p.m., on Saturday, September 23, 2023, officers responded to the 500 block of Hollow Creek Road for a shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, they located two individuals outside suffering from gunshot wounds. A female was pronounced deceased at the scene, and a male was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the decedents’ names. 

Detectives from the Personal Crimes Section are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lexington Police by calling (859) 258-3600.
