Jennifer Road Homicide Investigation

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Jennifer Road. 

At 12:01 p.m. on September 22, 2022, officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Jennifer Road for an individual who had been shot. When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. 

The victim's name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
