Marshall Lane Homicide Investigation and Arrest

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday evening on Marshall Lane.  

On September 19, 2023, at around 7:43 p.m., officers were dispatched to a residence in the 600 block of Marshall Lane for a shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, the armed suspect refused to exit the residence. 

Once officers entered the residence, they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.  The Fayette County Coroner's Office will release the name of the decedent. 

James Bradburn, 59, was arrested and charged with Murder. He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
