St. Michael Drive Homicide Investigation

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on St. Michael Drive.  

On July 11, 2023, at around 11:50 p.m., officers were dispatched in the 2000 block of St. Michael Drive after a neighbor reported a possible burglary. When officers arrived, they located a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, detectives from the Personal Crimes Section are continuing to investigate.

The Fayette County Coroner's Office will release the name of the decedent.
