Alumni Drive Homicide Investigation

A homicide investigation is underway after shots fired in an apartment.

On Sunday, April 18, 2021, around 3:47 p.m., Lexington Police responded to the 2800 block of Alumni Drive for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old juvenile victim, Hayden Nash, who was identified by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office deceased. After further investigation a 14-year-old juvenile suspect was arrested and charged with Manslaughter 2nd, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Minor in Possession of Handgun.

Police continue to investigate this case.
