Winchester Road Shooting Investigation Arrest

One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place on March 17 on Winchester Road.

On March 17, 2024, at 2:34 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Winchester Road for a shooting. When they arrived, they located a female victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported life-threatening injuries. While officers were at the scene, a male gunshot victim arrived at a hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries.

Utilizing the Real-Time Intelligence Center, Flock license plate readers, and traffic cameras, detectives were able to identify and locate the suspect. Mark Conley, 28, was arrested on March 22, 2024, for Assault 1st Degree. In addition to the shooting, he was also charged with unrelated warrants.

Conley is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
