Curfew in Lexington for children and teens under age 18 is midnight, every day of the week. That means minors may not be in a public space between the hours of midnight and 5 a.m.
Exceptions to curfew
- When the minor is accompanied by their parent or legal guardian
- When accompanied by an adult who is authorized by the minor's parent
- When returning home from a school or religious activity, within one hour of the event ending
- When working a job that is authorized under Kentucky state law
