Case Overview: On March 18, 2019 at 10:43p.m. the Lexington Police Department was dispatched to the 1500 Block of Kirk Court reference shots fired in the area which backs up to Green Acres Park. The officers canvassed the park on foot and located the victim, later identified as William Haskins, lying on his side suffering from gunshot wounds. Mr. Haskins was pronounced deceased at the scene.
