Case Overview: On July 21, 1994, officer's were dispatched to the Fifth and Race Street area reference a disorder. As officers arrived in the area they observed a group of individuals running in the area. When questioned as to what was going on, one of the subjects advised there was a deceased subject on Aspendale. As officers drove on Aspendale they were summoned to a residence by a crowd that had gathered in the area. Upon entering the residence officers located the victim who appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, identified as Ronald Lewis was pronounced deceased at the scene.
