MLK holiday collections, closings announcement

No city waste collections will be made on Monday, Jan. 20. Those who normally receive city curbside pick-up on Mondays will be serviced on Jan. 22.

Free Trash Disposal Day – Saturday, Jan. 11

The City of Lexington is partnering with the Bluegrass Regional Transfer Station to offer Fayette County residents a free trash disposal day for non-hazardous household waste. The event will be held Saturday, January 11, from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Holiday waste collection schedule announced

Lexington’s Division of Waste Management will adjust its collection schedule for the upcoming Christmas holiday.  Residents and businesses who normally have curbside waste collection on Tuesdays will be serviced on Monday, December 23.
