Lexington adds a new park!

Today, Lexington Parks & Recreation named the new addition, Buckhorn Park, with Mayor Jim Gray and Councilmember Preston Worley cutting a ribbon to celebrate.

Mt. Tabor Park gets trail addition, shelter

Paved walking trails are the thing Lexington residents want most in their parks, according to a recent survey. “So that’s what we’ve built in Mt. Tabor Park,” Mayor Jim Gray said today.

City seeking two Christmas trees for downtown

Do you have a large evergreen tree that is nicely shaped and that you want to be removed from your property? If so, consider donating it for the City to use for Lexington’s holiday season celebration.
