Junior golf program

Play Golf Lex Junior Programs are designed to create an exciting environment for kids of all skill levels and experience. Play Golf Lex Junior Golf programming is designed and run by U.S. Kids, TPI Junior and PGA Certified Professionals. We will be offering multiple options that will fit the needs of junior golfers, recreationally or competitively.

City seeking two Christmas trees for downtown

Do you have a large evergreen tree that is nicely shaped that you want removed from your property? If so, consider donating it for the city to use for Lexington’s holiday season celebration.

New paved walking trail at Meadowthorpe Park

A new paved .3-mile trail has been added to Meadowthorpe Park. In addition, permanent benches and trash cans have been added to the park, as well as additional sidewalk repairs.

Join in the magic at Woodland Park as ‘Ballet Under the Stars’ celebrates its 30th year

Lexington Parks & Recreation is celebrating the 30th year of Ballet Under the Stars with an enchanting evening filled with performances and activities for dance lovers of all ages. This annual summer event will run Aug. 1 – 4.
