Shillito Park's Miracle Field gets an upgrade

A brand new baseball field made the Miracle League’s fall season a success. The resurfaced field, finished in September, was made possible with money raised by the league and a contribution from Lexington Parks & Recreation.

Lexington adds a new park!

Today, Lexington Parks & Recreation named the new addition, Buckhorn Park, with Mayor Jim Gray and Councilmember Preston Worley cutting a ribbon to celebrate.

Mt. Tabor Park gets trail addition, shelter

Paved walking trails are the thing Lexington residents want most in their parks, according to a recent survey. “So that’s what we’ve built in Mt. Tabor Park,” Mayor Jim Gray said today.
