Junior golf program

Play Golf Lex Junior Programs are designed to create an exciting environment for kids of all skill levels and experience. Play Golf Lex Junior Golf programming is designed and run by U.S. Kids, TPI Junior and PGA Certified Professionals. We will be offering multiple options that will fit the needs of junior golfers, recreationally or competitively.

'Pianos in Parks' brings music, artwork to four local parks

Is playing a piano in the great outdoors on your bucket list? Lexington Parks and Recreation is about to help you cross it off. Parks is placing pianos at four parks – Phoenix, Thoroughbred, Woodland and Castlewood – from Friday, July 19, through Friday, Aug. 30.

Be a part of a once-in-a-generation community project at Shillito Park playground

On September 18 – 22, Lexington Parks & Recreation will team up with the community and the original designers of Shillito Playground to create a new space for play. There are a variety of volunteer positions available for community members, ages 16 years and older.

Friday Flicks is back with a great movie line-up

Friday Flicks returns to Jacobson Park with great movies, inflatables, food vendors, non-profits and more. The season kicks off on Friday, May 31.
