Lexington Parks & Recreation offers riding facilities at Masterson Station Park and Hisle Farm Park. Masterson Station Park includes a large space with jumps and other riding features.
We also offer our Equestrian Program at Masterson Station Park, which has safe and affordable horseback riding lessons in the Spring and Fall as well as a summer camp. The classes offered are introductory and include beginner, intermediate and advanced classes, with several classes of each level. Each session will meet after school/work. Riders are to supply their own ATSM-approved horseback riding helmets.
Note: The use of remote-controlled airplanes and drones may disturb horses and thus is prohibited in Masterson Station Park.

Management has the final say when assessing appropriate riding levels and program placement. Contact Georgia Ockerman at gockerma@lexingtonky.gov for questions or concerns.
