Masterson Station Park Equestrian Program

Masterson Station Park Equestrian Program offers safe and affordable horseback riding lessons.

The classes offered are introductory and include beginner, intermediate and advanced classes and there are several classes of each level. Each session consists of eight lessons and will meet after school/work. Riders are to supply their own horseback riding approved helmets.

Masterson is also the home of our 25 school horses, which are used for our lessons.

For safety, classes and activities will be CANCELLED whenever Fayette County Public Schools are cancelled due to inclement weather.

Registration and Fees

Registration is a lottery as we have limited slots. Participants names are drawn at random and can choose from classes available at that time. Please arrive a few minutes before registration time to fill out forms.

All youth riders must be 10 years old by the time classes begin. If your child has never participated in a Parks & Recreation program, please be sure to bring proof of age.

Fees are $125 per rider. You must supply your own approved horseback riding helmet once classes begin.

Staff chooses the level for each rider based on a consultation.

We reserve the right to combine or cancel classes if necessary.
