LFUCG employees have the option of not electing a medical plan. However, employees that do not elect a medical plan still receive flex credits that can be used for other pre-tax benefits. See eligible benefits below.
Use it or lose it
It is important for employees not electing a medical plan do put their flex credits toward other benefits because if they don't use it, they lose it.
*This is not applicable to extra flex credit for collective bargaining.
