Neighborhood sewer improvement projects

Kees Rd. sanitary sewer rehab project.

What is happening:  Sanitary sewer rehab work. (Clean-up work)

Dates: July 10 – 14, 2023

Location: Kees Road from Twelfth St. intersection to Faith St. intersection. Closed to local traffic only.

Total road closure

Detour onto Twelfth St. to Broadway or Kees Road to Russell Cave. Temporary paving/road plates will be in place during the project.

Any additional information: Sidewalk closure as well as heavy equipment noise.

 

Woodland Ave., E. High St sanitary sewer rehab project.

What is happening: Sanitary sewer rehab work. 

Dates: Woodland Ave. July 7 – Sept. 30, 2023

Location – E. High St. between Woodland Ave. And Kentucky Ave., Woodland Ave between the intersection of E. High and Main St.(Richmond Rd.)

Both will be alternating lane closures.

No detour at this time, as only one lane is closed on each street. Temporary paving/road plates will be in place during the project.

Any additional information: Sidewalk closure on parts of Woodland. Heavy equipment noise on both projects.

  • Wickland, 6th  Council District, 2 Days (Point Repairs – Not in Street)
  • Jennifer, 6th Council District, 2 Days (Point Repairs – Not in Street)
  • Raleigh, 6th Council District, 1 Day (Cured In Place Pipe - CIPP)
  • Wayland, 8th Council District, 1 Day(Cured In Place Pipe – CIPP
