Manchester Street will be one way from the railroad tracks toward Oliver Lewis Way for four weeks beginning the week of Monday, May 15. This traffic pattern change will allow for construction to improve the Town Branch Trail.

Commuters will not be able to turn onto Manchester Street from Oliver Lewis Way. The detour route follows Oliver Lewis Way to Versailles Road and South Forbes Road to reach Manchester Street. The sidewalk on the inbound lane will be open, but the trail – located on the other side of the street – will not be accessible for the duration of construction.

All Distillery District and Manchester area businesses will be accessible.

Motorists are asked to drive carefully through the project area and be aware of flaggers and lane changes.
