Section of Legacy Trail being temporarily rerouted

A section of the Legacy Trail will be rerouted for the next two weeks to allow for the construction of a driveway to Bluegrass Community & Technical College’s Newtown North Campus from Freight Boulevard.

A temporary trail will be built around the construction area to allow those using the Legacy Trail to safely continue their journeys uninterrupted. This will allow the approximately 200 feet of impacted trail to remain open from Newtown Pike to Setzer Way during the project.

The new entrance will allow access to the campus from Freight Boulevard.
