Lanes closed on Euclid Ave. for sewer repair

Euclid Ave. will be one-way toward E. High St. from Transylvania Park to Woodland Ave. from Monday, July 11 through Saturday, July 16. The northbound lanes of Euclid Ave. will be closed at Woodland Ave. to facilitate a sewer line repair and replacement.

Motorists traveling on Euclid Ave. toward campus can use Woodland Ave. and Rose Ln. as a detour route. Please drive slowly and watch for pedestrians and workers in construction areas.

This project will repair and increase the size of an aging sewer pipe that leads from a side street to the main sewer line. The main sewer line was upsized and replaced two years ago during the Euclid Sewer Project, in which the two miles of sewer that run from Oliver Lewis Way to Tates Creek Rd. were rehabilitated.
