Portion of Manchester Street to be closed on Saturday

A portion of Manchester Street will be shut down to inbound traffic this Saturday, May 15, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to allow for locating of underground utilities.

Traffic headed toward the downtown area will be detoured to Versailles Road via S. Forbes Road. All businesses will remain accessible.  Manchester St. will remain open to outbound traffic.

Inbound vehicles, like those on New Circle Road, wishing to reach Manchester Street should take Versailles Road to Oliver Lewis Way.

The utility location work is being done in advance of the rebuilding of the Manchester Street, S. Forbes Road, Old Frankfort Pike intersection.
