Intersection of Centre Parkway and Greentree Road to be closed

The intersection of Centre Parkway and Greentree Road will be closed starting this week for sanitary sewer construction. Greentree Road is closed to through traffic from Castleton Way to Gainesway Drive. The closure will last for several months.

Access to homes will be maintained throughout construction.

Drivers should use Appian Way to reach the Tates Creek Campus. Tates Creek Road can be used to travel from Armstrong Mill to Gainesway Drive.

Construction will continue to move down Greentree Road toward Gainesway Drive over the course of the project. The work, which may take up to a year, is being done in sections to replace and upsize approximately 6,000 feet of sanitary sewer pipe from Armstrong Mill to New Circle Road. This project is part of the federal consent decree requirements for Lexington to improve its sanitary sewer system.
