MLK bridge to be closed starting Monday, July 12

The Martin Luther King Bridge between Main and High streets will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, July 12, to allow for steel armored edge repairs. The sidewalks on the bridge will remain open.

The work is expected to take four days.

Drivers on High Street can use either Rose Street or South Limestone to travel north, while drivers on Main Street can use either Rose Street or South Upper to travel south.
