Local limits for industrial discharges

These discharge limits apply to all industrial wastes discharged to Lexington's sanitary sewer system. Categorical users should consult the appropriate CFR – CWF rules.

If you require a permit, call (859) 425-2412 for an application before discharging to the sanitary sewer.

Lexington is served by two wastewater treatment plants that have different discharge limits. To find which plant you discharge to, see our map of treatment plant boundaries or call (859) 425-2412.
