This year’s Truck-a-Palooza will be held in person on Saturday, June 4, 2022, between 1 and 4 p.m. at 1631 Old Frankfort Pike. Attendees will have the rare opportunity to view more than 20 city trucks, including units from the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works and the Lexington Fire Department. Drivers will be on hand to answer questions, and perform demonstrations. This event is open to all ages and is free to the public.
Road-eo skills challenge :
- 1:30 p.m., skid steer and then dump truck;
- 3:30 p.m., side-loader and then front-loader
Food and drink will be available for purchase from J & T's Italian Ice, Kentucky Kettle Corn and Nathan's Taqueria.
There will be a pre-event sensory hour for attendees with autism and sensory sensitivities from noon to 1 p.m. Contact Alice Hilton for further information.
