Southland Jamboree is a free Bluegrass Music Concert on Thursday evenings during the summer at 7 p.m. at the Moondance Amphitheater in Beaumont Center. Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy a picnic or purchase food from local trucks.
Southland Jamboree brings some of the best bluegrass musicians from around the region to Moondance Amphitheater each summer. The concert series is one of the best showcases in Kentucky of the bluegrass music genre, which got its name from Bill Monroe and his band Blue Grass Boys – named after the “Bluegrass State,” Kentucky, where they lived.
