Pace in Parks: Week 6 – Wellington Park

Pace in Parks is back! Join Parks & Recreation staff on a 10-week "couch to 10K" training program leading up to the Bluegrass 10,000, a 6.2-mile foot or wheelchair race on Monday, July 4. The only requirements are a suggested ability to be able to walk for 60 minutes non-stop. The training program will lead runners to the successful completion of the Bluegrass 10,000. All levels of runners are welcome to join.

The run club will meet every Saturday morning at a new park to run/walk the encouraged distance according to a 10-week training program. There will be route suggestions for beginners and advanced runners. A Lexington Parks and Recreation staff member will be present to take roll, answer questions and be your guide for the workout. Meet fellow runners in the area to help build a community around our 47-year-old race! The club is free and open to the public.
