The Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization is hosting its first ever StreetFest on Saturday, May 14, 2022, between 1 and 4 p.m. StreetFest is intended to celebrate warm weather, physical activity and streets as shared, public spaces.
The city will close down Oliver Lewis Way between High Street and Broadway, to allow people to bike, scoot, skate, jog or walk freely on the closed street. Community organizations are also invited to share resources and host performances, classes or demonstrations.
