This is a subcommittee of the General Government & Social Services Subcommittee.
Purpose
To conduct a complete assessment of the LFUCG ESR Program and to report its findings to the General Government and Social Services Committee for further considerations and recommendations.
Scope of Work
The subcommittee shall first evaluate the priority areas of the ESR Program including but not limited to the grantees, community need, benefit and cultural impact, and financial value (revenue & expenses). The subcommittee will also review the drafted ordinance which directs the Department of Finance to designate and appropriate funding from the General Fund revenue collected from the last full fiscal year in order to fund the ESR grant program. Once finalized, the subcommittee is tasked with applying the evaluation and producing a summary of recommendations back to the General Government and Social Services Committee by March 9, 2021.
