Will I have to pay to use EAP?

No. EAP services are free to employees, their spouses and dependents. Employees have five free EAP sessions per year with Access Wellness.

Will my boss or other people at work know I am using EAP?

No. An employee's voluntary use of the EAP is strictly confidential. An employee's personal information is not shared with their employer or anyone else. The city's EAP providers do not share any information with anyone in the employee's workplace (including HR) unless they have signed a written HIPAA-compliant Release of Information giving the provider permission to do so.
