Richard Moloney, a Lexington native, returns to the Urban County Government to serve citizens as a Council Member At-Large. Formerly representing the 11th district, Moloney served seven terms over a 20 year period; a time span covering four mayors, six vice mayors and 45 council members. His four-year term as Council Member At-Large began in Jan. 2015.
Moloney also served as Chief Administrative Officer and Commissioner of Environmental Quality & Public Works for Mayor Jim Gray. Prior to that, he led the Department of Housing, Buildings and Construction under the Gov. Beshear administration.
