Registration forms for Lexington city golf tournaments can be downloaded here or picked up at any of our golf courses, and will be available at least one month prior to the tournament.

Cabin Fever Classic

Tates Creek Golf Course

This 18-hole, two person scramble is open to golfers of all ages and skill levels. This event has a noon shotgun start. Prizes will be provided for each session. Each session will be limited to the first 50 teams to register.

Extreme Scramble

April 27, 2019
Lakeside Golf Course

Lexington Parks & Recreation is proud to host the Extreme Scramble at Lakeside Golf Course. This 18-hole, four person scramble is open to anyone willing to accept the challenge of extreme golf. This event has a 2 p.m. shotgun start.

City Two-Man Championship

May 18 – 19, 2019
Kearney Hill Golf Links

The first round will be chapman alternate shot and best ball, with the second round a scramble and combined gross.

Men’s City Championship

June 7 – 9, 2019
Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome, Kearney Hill Golf Links and Tates Creek Golf Course      

The Men’s City Golf Championship is definitely one of Lexington’s favorite golf tournaments and includes golfers of all ages and handicaps. Played on three different golf courses over the course of three days, this is a 54-hole tournament. Divisions offered include handicap and scratch.

Fraternal Order of Firefighters and Lexington Fire Department Golf Scramble

This 18-hole, four-person scramble is open to golfers of all ages and skill level. Shotgun start times are at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Captains check-in for all players 15 minutes prior to start.  Prizes will be provided for each session and lunch for golfers will be at noon. 



Help support a good cause and get your name and/or logo printed on a sign which will be placed on the green or on a tee box during the scramble. Sponsorships are tax deductible.

Junior City Championship

July 13 – 14, 2019
Tates Creek Golf Course & Kearney Hill Golf Links

With the first round played at Tates Creek Golf Course and the final round at Kearney Hill Golf Links, this 36-hole championship is open to junior golfers’ (boys and girls) ages 9 – 18 years. Individuals will compete in their own age division.

July 27 – 28, 2019
Lakeside Golf Course (Men's open division) or Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome (All other divisions)       

(Note: Register through the Bluegrass State Games. The Lakeside Golf Course and Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome are the host sites only.)

Women's City Championship

Aug. 3 – 4, 2019
Kearney Hill Golf Links and Tates Creek Golf Course            

Held at Kearney Hill Golf Links and Tates Creek Golf Course, this 36-hole tournament is open to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Each person competes against participants of their own skill level and there are plenty of winners. In addition to the individual competition, participants may sign-up to compete in the team tournament at no additional cost. The team competition will be comprised of four players who represent the same club and are playing in the tournament as individuals.

Men’s Senior City Championship

Aug. 23 – 25, 2019
Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome, Kearney Hill Golf Links and Lakeside Golf Course             

This Championship is for men 50 years of age and older. Divisions offered include senior (50 – 59), Super Senior (60 – 69) and Legends (70 & over).

Pumpkin Patch Classic

Oct. 6, 2019
Tates Creek Golf Course                

This 18-hole tournament is open to two-person teams and will be played in a scramble format. Golfers of all ages and skill levels are eligible to participate. Awards and prizes will be provided for overall first through fifth place, longest drive, closest to the hole, most accurate drive, longest putt and best dressed.
