2020 Lexington City Golf Championships
Men’s City Championship
July 10 – 12, 2020
Lakeside Golf Course, Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome and Kearney Hill Golf Links
The Men’s City Golf Championship is definitely one of Lexington’s favorite golf tournaments and includes golfers of all ages and handicaps. Played on three different golf courses over the course of three days, this is a 54-hole tournament. Divisions offered include handicap and scratch.
Junior City Championship
July 11 – 12, 2020
Gay Brewer Jr. Course at Picadome and Kearney Hill Golf Links
This 36-hole championship is open to junior golfers’ (boys and girls) ages 9 – 18 years. Individuals will compete in their own age division.
Women's City Championship
Aug 1 – 2, 2020
Lakeside Golf Course and Tates Creek Golf Course
This 36-hole tournament is open to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Each person competes against participants of their own skill level and there are plenty of winners. In addition to the individual competition, participants may sign-up to compete in the team tournament at no additional cost. The team competition will be comprised of four players who represent the same club and are playing in the tournament as individuals.

Kearney Hill Golf Links
Two player team tournament. The first round will be chapman alternate shot and best ball, with the second round a scramble and combined gross.
Senior City Championship
Sept. 11– 13, 2020
Tates Creek Golf Course, Gay Brewer Jr. at Picadome and Kearney Hill Golf Links
This Championship is for golfers 50 years of age and older. Divisions offered include Senior (50 – 59), Super Senior (60 – 69) and Legends (70 & over) for both men and women, all divisions will be scratch.

In order to give our golfers a chance to compete while following current safety guidelines, we have created this event for you! Best part is there is no tournament fee, only pay for your greens/cart fees.
- Matches can be scheduled at any of the five City of Lexington Golf Courses at different dates and times in order to conform to group gathering restrictions
- Online leaderboards and score keeping
- One rider per cart
- Players will maintain social distancing
- Flagpoles will remain in cups and pool noodles have been inserted
Cabin Fever Classic
Tates Creek Golf Course
This 18-hole, two-person scramble is open to golfers of all ages and skill levels. This event has a noon shotgun start. Prizes will be provided for each session. Each session will be limited to the first 50 teams to register.

Lexington Parks & Recreation is proud to host the Extreme Scramble at Lakeside Golf Course. This 18-hole, four-person scramble is open to anyone willing to accept the challenge of extreme golf.

Your team of four players will get to choose to play six holes from short tees, six holes from middle tees and six holes from the back tees. Shotgun start at 8 a.m. followed by a BBQ lunch.

Tates Creek Golf Course
This 18-hole tournament is open to two-person teams and will be played in a scramble format. Golfers of all ages and skill levels are eligible to participate. Awards and prizes will be provided for overall first through fifth place, longest drive, closest to the hole, most accurate drive, longest putt and best dressed.
Fraternal Order of Firefighters and
Lexington Fire Department Golf Scramble
This 18-hole, four-person scramble is open to golfers of all ages and skill levels. Captains check-in for all players 15 minutes prior to start. Prizes will be provided for each session and lunch for golfers will be at noon.
Help support a good cause and get your name and/or logo printed on a sign which will be placed on the green or on a tee box during the scramble. Sponsorships are tax-deductible.
