Oct 13, 2023, 6 – 8 p.m.

Add to Outlook calendar

The Art by Nature program highlights ways to improve and enhance the natural world through a gallery of native landscapes and plants highlighted by local artists. The 2023 exhibit will focus on urban creeks. Stream buffers are an important part of the urban creek habitat. In addition to providing food and shelter for local wildlife, stream buffers help filter pollutants from the urban environment and reinforce stream banks, preventing erosion.

This event is free and open to the public. Stop by to browse the art, enjoy snacks and make a button to take home.

The exhibit will remain on display through Nov. 24 at the Living Arts & Science Center. For more about Art by Nature and other events, visit lexingtonky.gov/ArtByNature
