Kevin O. Stinnett is serving his third term as the 6th District Council member. He currently chairs the Budget and Finance Committee, and serves on the Planning Committee, Water Resources Oversight Committee, Outside Agency Oversight and the Animal Care and Control Oversight Committee.
He owns Premier Financial Group - Insurance and Financial Services and is an Investment Advisory Representative with Lincoln Financial Securities Corporation. A native of Lexington, Stinnett is a graduate of Centre College in Danville. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Spanish.
Stinnett is currently on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers and Bigs Sisters of the Bluegrass, Leadership Lexington Steering Committee, Commerce Lexington Economic Developement Committee and past president of Northern Cal Ripken Baseball and Softball Association. He is a qualifier of the Million Dollar Round Table, and a graduate of the Leadership Lexington Program.
In his spare time, Stinnett is a strong advocate for the benefit of children in Lexington where he has been a Big Brother since 1996. He and his wife, Kati, are members of Eastland Church of God.
