Summer camps 2020

Parks & Recreation will be offering summer camp 2020 opportunities that allow for safe social distancing and will follow recommendations from the CDC, the local health department, and the KY Healthy at Work Childcare Guidelines. Registration will begin on June 12 at 10 a.m. Camp registration will be a LOTTERY system this year. See below for more details. Registration is now open through Friday, June 27.

We highly encourage all participants to register online if possible. If online registration is not possible, we are offering a walk-up registration from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on June 12 at the Dunbar Community Center parking lot (545 N. Upper St.). Masks are recommended and safe social distancing is required.

In order to register online, you must have an account set up. This includes age verification for campers which can take 1 – 3 business days. We recommend having this completed by June 11.

Camp registration lottery

This year due to limited spaces available, camp registration will be a lottery system. All registration will be accepted June 12 – 16 and then campers will be randomly selected by our registration system. Campers can enter the lottery for a spot in one session for each camp of interest.

Each session of each camp is treated as an individual lottery. You may enter as many lotteries as you would like to. Each camper is treated as an individual and we will not be able to guarantee siblings will receive spots in the same camp sessions.

DATES TO KNOW:
