A man has been charged in connection with a shooting that occurred early Thursday morning. Lexington Police detectives charged Jarrin Lee Davis, 26, with Assault 1st and Robbery 1st.
Shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday, November 7, officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 300-block of Rose Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 42-year-old male victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital for treatment. Witnesses inside the apartment reported that two armed men wearing bandanas had entered the home and a disorder ensued.
While officers were processing the apartment scene, police received a call that another man with gunshot wounds had been dropped off at a local hospital. This man was identified as Jarrin Davis. Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Davis was one of the suspects who had entered the apartment and was possibly shot by the other perpetrator.
This investigation is ongoing as police continue to search for the second suspect.
