Looking at these trees can be a rewarding experience

Looking for something to do in October and get rewarded for doing it, then The Go See Trees Fall Challenge might be just for you.

“The Go See Trees Fall Challenge gets people outside to really connect with Lexington’s trees and experience different parts of the city’s tree canopy,” says City Arborist Heather Wilson. “This challenge highlights some new trees, so we encourage people who participated last spring to take part in the challenge.”

Participants will be given a list of 10 trees located around Fayette County. Those who visit at least 5 trees and turn in the necessary documentation will receive a prize. Those who visit all 10 will be entered in a grand prize drawing.

The Go See Trees challenge runs from October 3 through October 27.

Complete details and a map showing where the trees are located are at LexingtonKy.Gov/GoSeeTrees.
