“Complex Simplicities” Latest Exhibit at Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center

“Complex Simplicities,” the latest exhibit at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center’s City Gallery, will feature works from Julie Warren Conn and Helene Steene, and will run from Oct. 6 – Dec. 3. Visitors will enjoy multiple abstract sculptures, paintings and visual poetry.

After meeting in 2015 at the KY Crafted Breeders Cup Exhibition and seeing their work side by side, Steene asked Conn to join her for a show at the Pam Miller DAC City Gallery. “We thought it would be interesting to make a larger exhibit together,” said Steene.

The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular Pam Miller DAC hours, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., Friday through Saturday; and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Sunday.

It is also a featured stop on the LEXArts Gallery Hop, 5 – 8 p.m., Nov. 17.
