Arrest made in fatal stabbing at apartment complex

Tonisha HendricksonSeptember 12 UPDATE – An arrest has been made in the case of a Lexington man who was killed Sunday evening. Investigators with the Lexington Police Department today arrested Tonisha Hendrickson, 26, and charged her with Murder.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined that Hendrickson stabbed and killed 37-year-old Antwain Hayes. The two were acquaintances.

Hendrickson is lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.

 

Previously released: Lexington Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Sunday evening.

Around 9:15 p.m. Sunday, September 10, officers were dispatched to Forty57 Apartments on Mooncoin Way for a disorder. A 37-year-old man was found suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a hospital and later pronounced deceased.

The victim’s name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner’s office.
