Latest exhibit at City Gallery showcases “Kentucky Through the Lens”

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 20, 2016) “Kentucky Through the Lens,” the latest exhibit at the Downtown Arts Center’s City Gallery, will feature four Kentucky photographers. The exhibit will feature images from around the state, and will run from Aug. 12 – Oct. 2. Visitors will enjoy a mix of urban and rural landscapes, as well as macro photography.

“We are lucky to be surrounded by such a beautiful landscape in Kentucky. This exhibit really explores the many ways to look at our environment,” Celeste Lewis, City Gallery.

The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular DAC hours, Tuesday – Thursday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday – Saturday, 11 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 

It is also a featured stop on the LEXArts Gallery Hop, Sept. 16, 5 ­– 8 p.m.
