Lexington Police detectives have updated a May 2018 death investigation following the Medical Examiner ruling the cause of death of 24-year-old Abraham Piedra as a homicide.
On Sunday May 13, 2018 around 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2000-block of Daniel Court reference an unresponsive 24-year-old male Hispanic. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as Piedra, deceased inside of his apartment. The Fayette County Coroner responded to the scene and determined that the circumstances of the death were suspicious.
Investigators have no suspect description at this time. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at (859) 258-3600.
