June 24 update
An arrest has been made in the death of a Lexington woman who was intentionally run over by a vehicle. Jacquetta Perry, 53, is charged with Murder, Robbery 1st, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. She is accused of killing Eugenia Keens, who was killed June 10 on Martha Court.

The Lexington Police Department is investigating a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle as a homicide.
Around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, officers were dispatched to the 1500-block of Martha Court for a hit and run collision. The victim, Eugenia L. Keens, 48, was found unresponsive in the parking lot. Keens was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. Witnesses stated that a white SUV struck the victim then fled the scene.
