Friday Flicks is back with a great movie line-up

Our long-standing movie nights with Lexington are back, and the queue looks great! Friday Flicks sponsored by G&J Pepsi starts May 31 at Jacobson Park.

“Summertime means it’s time for Friday Flicks. This is one of our favorite family-friendly events,” said Lexington Parks & Recreation Special Events Manager Michelle Franzetti. “It’s a great way to spend your Friday nights and have a ton of fun.”

This year’s movie lineup includes:

May 31 | Ralph Breaks the Internet
June 7 | The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
June 14 | How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
June 21 | Mary Poppins Returns
June 28 | Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

With inflatables, food vendors, non-profit vendors and more, Flicks is perfect for families. Before the movie starts, hang out with friends and enjoy the park.

New this year is a $2 parking fee per vehicle, cash only. Season parking passes will be available for purchase on May 31 and June 7 for $6. Save time and money by getting one the first night of the series.

Pre-show activities start at 7 p.m., and the show begins when it’s dark. Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
